Theresa, If you're worried about space and time for theme displays, maybe you could put up your own bulletin board/centers in the other teachers' rooms. They could do the same in yours. I agree with Mindy in that the kids should stay put. I currently teach two grade levels for language arts, and I lose a lot of time in the transition (going to lockers/bathroom, etc.).
