Our school district has a liason person who contacts local businesses who basically "adopt" a school for special projects. Service clubs in our area are very generous Rotary, Kiwanis, etc. especially if the kids come speak at a meeting. Perhaps your PTO will take it on as a fundraiser, or you could do a penny drive with the whole school participating. I feel as though the Ellison Co. themselves advertise fundraising ideas when they are at conventions and such. You may try contacting them for ideas. Good luck!!
