posting of honor roll and awards day

I found this past year to be an embarrassment to ME where honor roll and awards were concerned. My students were so low that only a couple of them qualified for the regular honor roll, and not a single child qualified for the principal's honor roll (all A's). My list was placed beside the others outside of the office with its two names on it. In addition, we had awards day every quarter. I only got to hand out two ribbons, while the other teachers handed out a bunch of them. I work in a very small school with only one teacher per grade level, but still, I dreaded awards and honor roll.
