I believe the ar testing is very rewarding. I had the children in different teams each month. The team with the most points received a pizza party (donated by the restaurant). Strong readers were combined with weaker readers. Both groups of readers were encouraged. At the end of the year a gift certificate from a book store was given to the top two boys and girls in my split class. Does anyone use the literacy tests? How is it going?
