Hi Phyllis,
I'm curious to know what area in Michigan you are from. I've always gone the extra mile, both as a temporary and as a long-term sub. I think I mentioned in my original posting that I was "the sub that everyone| wanted" and I have the letters of recommendation to prove it. When I began substituting, I concentrated on districts who claimed to hire their subs only to find that wasn't the case. I've since learned which districts do. At this point, however, I have a contracted teaching position at a parochial school and, while I'm still hoping to find a position in a public school, feel that returning | |
to the sub thing might not be such a wise move financially or otherwise. I just don't know and would appreciate additional comments. Oh, and a big CONGRATS to CK!
