Sports Theme

I teach third grade. The students have to memorize the multiplication times tables. As an incentive, one of my b. boards is a football field. I pre-test the students on each of the times tables, when they have mastered aech (example 1X, 2X), their football player moves down the field towards the endline (touchdown). I have 10 lines representing the yard lines. When they have all have mastered the multiplication facts we have a "Superbowl Party".
