Birthday Ideas
By Virginia

Clip to ScrapBook
Ally, I purchase inexpensive birthday hats at the party supply store (the cardboard "cone" type), I purchase enough for each child in my class. These are really less expensive than crowns. On a student's birthday, I push a wrapped lollipop into the top of the hat and place it on the birthday child's desk for he or she to find when they arrive at school.

Also, I design and copy enough birthday booklet covers for each child at the beginning of the school year. When children have a birthday, I pass out small sheets of construction paper for each classmate to decorate for the birthday person. I then staple these sheets to the cover and send it home for a keepsake.

I hope these ideas will be helpful.
