planning time
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
I, too, spent a great deal of time planning when I first started out at my present grade level (5). I had state standards to meet, and textbooks which didn't align with the standards. I had to seek out my own materials, which was very time consuming. I couldn't help thinking how much easier my life would have been if the textbooks taught to the state standards.

Once you have the materials you need to work with, you will find your year to be much easier. The first year is always the hardest.
