Multiage

Hi all,
It's exciting to see all the multiage classrooms springing up...I've had lots of experiences with various configurations of multiage...as a parent I chose 1/2, 1/2/3, 3/4; a 4-5-6 and 4-5 loop for my boys as they were available. I've taught 1/2 and am moving to 3/4. My brother teaches 2/3 and his fiance is a 1/2 teacher (from 2/3)... Balanced literacy is essential to managing all the different levels your students will be moving through as readers, writers and problem solvers.
