Relax, Relate, Be You
By Michelle

Clip to ScrapBook
First things first: Be Honest and Be You

Think of the interview as a non-threatening conversation with a friend who wants to hear about your career goals. If you enjoy working with students, your responses will flow easily. You can prepare for such interviews by jotting down your feelings about students, yourself as an educator, your goals for your classroom, and the things you simply will not stand for. Teaching is about complying with rules that you may not agree with but work through because you love your job. Just relax and write down your feelings. Good luck.
