I think what strikes me about this book is that it's based on common sense. I sometimes refer back to it when I feel myself losing ground with classroom management. It's a "back to basics" kind of thing for me.

So many new teachers have a copy now. I'm sure you could borrow one for a little while and then determine if you'd like a copy for yourself.
