Fiesta Texas is run by Six Flags. Very fun place, and it hasn't been crowded this summer. We also have a Sea World that's nice. As far as other places...if you have a car you might want to drive north of town to the small
towns in the hill country. Beautiful scenery and a lot of small shops. If you're nature inclined you might also go to the zoo or the Botanical Gardens.

As far as downtown...just wander around the Riverwalk and see what you find. There's everything from Tex-Mex food to jazz clubs to comedy clubs to a nice mall.

As far as teacher stores, there are none downtown...but my favorite

is Schoolocker, off of loop 410 at Ingram on the northwest side of town. It has absolutely everything. Another place for materials, especially hands on stuff, is Lakeshore Learning Center, at 410 and 281.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
