Returning papers

I also assign a number to each student on day 1. The numbers correspond to the alphabetical list. If someone moves out or enters no one's number changes. They have to write the number on the top right corner of their papers on every sheet. It is far, far easier to alphabetize them that way.Also, I staple all the papers in my Monday folders. Forgot to say that in my e mail, but it is important. If they remove a paper and you find it, it has staple holes!
