frustration

Hi, I saw that you wanted some simple literacy centers for when you are working on guided reading groups. I, too, struggled with this, then I got a book by Creative Teaching Press, called What are the Other Kids Doing? While this book is a primary level, they also put one out about Literacy Centers for 3-5 grades. Many of the same ideas as primary one, but with more involvement for the kids to keep them involved longer. I have found it to be a WONDERFUL resource. Good luck!
