Returning Papers
By Cheryl

Clip to ScrapBook
In a filing cabinet, I keep a file folder on each student, with their name on a tab. Every day or two, I file graded papers. On Thursday, the daily work is placed in the right pocket of a folder and the tests and quizzes, along with other school info, is placed in the left pocket of the folder. The tests and quizzes are stapled together. The parents must sign the top page of the tests and quizzes and return them with the folder on Fri. All other papers stay home. Twice a month, I include a class newsletter. Actually, grades 4-6 do this at our school and the students and parents know to look for the "Thursday folder". When papers are returned, keep in a crate just in case. I discard these after 9 wk. report cards are returned. Good luck!
