I use a manila folder as a Friday Folder for every child. In the folder I staple a sheet that says
Date Parent Signature Comments

Each Friday the kids take the folder home with papers, my weekly newletter and notices from the office. It woeks well for me and the parents know to look for it on Friday. I just keep them in a crate and as I correct the papers I throw them in the crate and at the end of the day on Friday everyone gets a stack to pass out and then they put them in their folder and into the backpack! Works great!
