I used to run student council in my school and I will be returning to the position this year. I am excited. I love it! First of all I really stress how important it is to be a student council member and how they are leaders
in the school. Any problems from them in school and they are out! I have weekly meetings and I stress community service! We have a school store and I buy the things they sell at the dollar store or from a catalog. They collect attendance and do morning announcements. This year i want to do more things in school like Hat day for 50 cents. You can wear a hat for the day if you

pay! The money will go to a local shelter. I was thinking of Friday is teacher jeans day for a buck! We are discouraged from wearing jeans!! They are the office helpers. They plan the theme week. I am thinking of doing the 2nd Friday of each month instead of a whole week of craziness!! They bring issues to the table....they started a recycle club in the school. I guess it should be fun and teach responsibility.
