I wish my Media specialist would join all the professional teaching organizations and get all the wonderful publications they distribute...
International Reading Association (Reading Teacher, as mentioned)
NCTE

(National Council of Teachers of English) NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics) NCSS (National Council for Social Studies) NSTA (National Science Teacher's Association) ASCD (Association for Supervision of Curriculum Development??) I am a member of each individually, but it would be great if our school would suscribe. Each has monthly magazines and

other periodicals.
My all time favorite magazine for children is Kids Discover. My boys loved it too. Time for Kids is good...
