You sound like a good teacher that really cares and inner city schools really need this. They have so many openings because they're growing but also they can't get good teachers. It's not fair that kids in poor communities often get less of an education because it's hard to find good, dedicated teachers that will stay in the community. Many do and I must commend them but we need more. I recently accepted a job at a school in a very bad neighborhood because I know those other schools can get plenty of teachers.
