Clip to ScrapBook
The obvious one is geography. My Title I students often have trouble knowing the difference between cities and states, as well as where these states are. I plan on putting up a poster of the United States and then with string posting the cards around the country to a particular state and then labeling the city. I'm also planning on using this activity to improve letter writing skills, reading comprehension and math problem solving. How many miles is it from Indiana to Washington? Which card traveled the farthest? shortest distance?
Which place would you most like to visit?
Have any of you been to any of these places?
Research projects.

The list is endless.
