I agree with Anne's response - concentrate on making your classroom environment enjoyable visually. Make it look exciting and positive, a place that will foster lots of learning. A lot of teacher supply stores sell what they call "cheap charts." Buy some and laminate them so that you can have them for years. Dioramas are also a ice touch. Good luck with your room, but more importantly with your teaching future!
