I have done a theme to start every year. Some of my favorites are: Mystery where the whole room was decorated in balck and white and I did magnifying glasses in foil it looked so great! I did mystery powders in Science and codes in math and the Interact Unit Mysteries for Reading. It was a huge success. I have also done pigs, construction, the election and this year I am planning Rock and Roll into school with a 50's theme. Looking for 45's and albums for mobiles, want to look into celebrating the 50th day of school instead of the 100th with a sock hop! I think it will be good. I'll share in August when I am done.
