Clip to ScrapBook
I did my student teaching in first grade. These were some of the things I did with the theme. You could hold a teddy bear picnic. Have each student bring in his or her favorite stuffed animinal and a beach towel. You could
serve peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. We also learned the song going on a bear hunt. I also took pictures of each student and their teddy bear. Then the students had to write where they got their teddy bear from, why the bear was special. We did a math lesson on measuring and measured are teddy bears. Then I put all the pictures and writing into a class book. When I was doing
this theme I look up on the web and found lots of great sits with lots of songs and activites to play. If you want I could try to find the websites for you. Good luck hope this helps!
