Clip to ScrapBook
This surely cannot top those great magnets, WOW! But you might be able to use it. It was absolutely free and well-received by my class: I made a paper "fortune-teller" square that the kids could fold and tell each other's "fortunes". I folded the origami pattern original, wrote fortunes on it, unfolded it, decorated what would be the "top", then copied it on colorful paper. I included things like "You will read 8 books over the summer and absolutely love them all!" It was fun for me, fun for the students and I hope the fortunes will become self-fulfilling prophesies.
