I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN!
By Scipio

Clip to ScrapBook
Well, this is my 3rd year of teaching. I was under a teacher preparation program. I came from a non-teaching background completely. I feel like a first year teacher. I am moving to a new school - brand new school, finally
my own classroom (no more floating), a new principal, a male principal. I am so anxious about everything. I have been working on websites and perfecting my classroom rules and procedures and planning the entire first semester. I have to plan. I want to do my best for my kids. If I don't plan - I won't do my best. Yet, I feel kind of SILLY for going to the extremes that I have gone.
I have surfed the web to and fro for ideas on everything. I have bought every book that HALF-PRICE BOOKS has to offer and Harry Wong has been my educational bible. I want everything to go perfectly. ALL OF YOUR ANALOGIES WERE SO RIGHT! My third year feels like my first year. I hope this time, I don't cry! SOME ADVICE: Stand your ground, have high expectations for all of your kids but keep in mind their abilities. WE WILL ALL DO FINE!
