4th grade Texas

I too will be teaching 4th grade for the 1st time next year. Last year was my 1st year of teaching and I taught 8th grade language arts. I didn't care for 8th grade very much so I went for a job in a much better district in an elementary school. When I student taught in elementary I liked it very much. I am so excited about what I'll be able to do in 4th grade. I did TAAS writing prep last year on the 8th grade level, so I know it will be different with 4th graders. I'm busy going over my 4th grade TEKS just like you are! It's so different being responsible for every subject. It'll be a big change, but I'm ready.
