"The First Days of School"

The other postings seem to deal mainly with supplies; however, when I first saw the posting regarding what new teachers need to prepare, I immediately thought of the book "The First Days of School" by Dr. Harry Wong. EVERYTHING you need to think about and make a plan for is covered in this reader-friendly, extremely useful book. It was given to me by my first principal, and I take it out every year a few weeks before school begins to keep myself focused. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book to any new teacher (or veteran teacher, for that matter)! Best wishes!
