I'm not too sure how old your students are, but with upper elementary students I have a "in progress binder" and and "extra" binder. In the in progress binder they have current notes, booklets etc. After a unit is finished we put everything into the extra binder. Both have dividers for each subject. It works really well! Hope you find something!
