Spelling
By Julie

Clip to ScrapBook
There's a great program out there called How to Teach Any Child to Spell, and the accompanying workbook, Tricks of the Trade, both by Gayle Graham. It would be worth getting your hands on in order to improve your spelling skills and your confidence. It is important for teachers and parents to be able to spell correctly, and to understand the rules of spelling. Once you understand the rules, things will fall into place, and there aren't that many rules that need to be learned, so it's not overwhelming. Of course, it's important for children to see teachers and parents looking up words, and being able to admit that sometimes we need help too.

Best of luck,
Julie
