etc. I am willing to make phone calls I can come in to school to pick up projects I am willing to send in treats for parties ___ paper products __ I will bake __ I will purchase store bought treats ___ beverages I would like to design bulletin boards * Here is something about me you might like to know! (special talents, etc). [ I have had parents write that they are good at calligraphy, or they can do sign language and would come in to do a presentation, one woman said she was a teacher for 9 years in the city schools] I am can do "hurry up" projects I need at least a week's notice to do a project I prefer 2-3 weeks to complete a project. At first this was a hard work, but after a while, I had lots of projects parents could do at home and still feel like they were contributing. I have had parents look up different information on the internet related to school projects, print it up and send it in. sometimes this is information about an author of a book we are reading or coloring pages on author's web sites. I have some parents make bulletin boards or make flyers announcing upcoming meetings or project due dates. I send things home that need to be typed up on the computer with easy graphics which I don't have time to do. One woman does calligraphy and makes out my awards during the year!
