Clip to ScrapBook
What I know of it is that it is a way for students to correct their own inappropriate behaviors over time. Teachers guide them in an effort to make consequences meaningful to the student.

It gets away from the scenario
of a wrong behavior is done, so the teacher takes away recess, and that's it! This may not be meaningful to the student, etc.

So, the model encourages ways to help specific behaviors, for instance reading a leveled book on social interaction to a teacher or the principal once everyday for some time if a student gets into a verbal fight. There are endless scenarios, and ways to remedy

behavior through the student's input on what would help.

This is all I know. I would like a book, web site, pamphlet, etc. on how to find more info and implement this model. Who knows more???
