I also did not start out as a teacher. I worked under administrative contract for a University. Saw and ad in the paper, and the next thing I knew I was teaching. I think that the wealth of life experience and being a parent has definitely been an asset. One of the men I teach with his a retired probation officer. Even as a new teacher, I think I was organized, not totally stressed with deadlines and was able to have a sense of knowing that have good morale with the troops leads to more productivity. We are like fine wine, aged to prefection and easy to swallow.
