CA has you beat 4 hours to teach!

If you have a BA or BS you can teach in a classroom independantly with a contract simply by passing the CBEST (Basic skills test) a four hour test and enrolling in a University under a Pre-Intern program. They do give these people coaches (mentors) and Saturday Pedagogy classes, but little else. I've seen some that were awsome, but more that were just plain SCARY!!!!! I guess all those observations, classes and student teaching were a waste. I could have just taken a test!
