    Me too

I was, what I call informally "observed" by a teacher in my group on a couple of occasions. I do appreciate the fact that she just strode into my classroom to wait for her class to come back from specials or to get something off my printer. She didn't just peek through the glass.(Who knows how many people have done that!)I never asked her what she thought, and she never offered me any advice. I think she took the opportunity to check me out, but hey, everyone is going to be curious about the new person.

After being observed so many times during my internship, it didn't bother me one little bit. I just carried on as if she wasn't there. My principal has dropped in a couple of times also. I think it is going to happen and is bound to happen.

My advice for your door window, though, is to have the children make a door decoration and cover it up or put up little decals so that if someone wants to Peep, they would have to be pretty obvious. If the decorations are seasonal or themed, it may not be obvious to others that you are trying to stop prying eyes.
