New from CT too!

I have also just graduated with my master's from CT, too! And, also like you I am relocating but to Las Vegas. I am also wondering the same stuff. I have been reading "How to be an Effective Teacher: The First Days of School" by Harry K. and Rosemary T. Wong. It is a very helpful book. Easier to read than our textbooks. Everything is laid out in a logical order. It discusses behavior management, intorducing yourself, seating arrangements, grading, etc. I would recommend reading it. I have gotten some really good tips from it. Good Luck. I would love to hear more about your move. Are you a graduate of SCSU??
