misspelled words
By not a good speller

I too am a bad speller. I also let my kids, parents, and co-workers know that I am a bad speller. Hey, just because I don't spell good doesn't mean I'm not an excellent teacher, right? Actually I think that the students who have bad spellers as teachers end up being the better spellers...as almost everyone else has mentioned, the kids work so hard trying to find the teachers mistakes they can't help but become better spellers themselves!!!My advice to the original poster is don't worry and enjoy the year! Unless you are a superhuman machine you are going to make mistakes--most teachers do.
