Regarding April's idea

I'm not a teacher, but I wanted to say that April's idea is wonderful. I had a HS teacher who did something similar -- he told us his observations of us, mostly focusing on the strengths we couldn't see in ourselves. I'll never forget him or his comments. Even little kids (my daughter's in Kindergarten) would just love a personal letter from their teacher.
