oceans

My classroom is decorated like the ocean. I have stamped sea creatures on a row of blocks on the wall. The job chart is an octopus. The curtains are beachy. My AR points chart uses fish. The them in my room is "Third grade is oceans of fun". I hang stuffed dolphins, manatees, etc. from fishing line from the ceiling. I use a bulletin board about fishing for compliments. My reading center says "Dive into Reading" It has been lots of fun. We live in the mountains and the kids like the beach as an escape. Also, blue cellophane decorates windows, lights, etc. Most of it has been done with yard sale finds.
