The Movie By Denise

I too think Phantom Tollbooth is one of the most perfect books ever written--for children and for adults. The past 2 years my 4th graders and I read it as a lit set--me reading and they following along. We did this at the end of the year after they had learned a lot of idiomatic expressions. Stopping to talk about the humor really has worked. They love it!
The movie, which is just delightful, is not in print. I got mine from a collector from Amazon.com. You may pay extra for it, but it is well worth the money.
