Fourth grade support system

It is so nice to see Wendy receiving so much support! I think it is a natural tendency for teachers to collaborate with anyone and everyone! With that thought in mind, let's face it--fourth grade is a critical year for any| teacher in NYS, whether it is your first or fifteenth. I imagine we all have fantastic ideas for what does and does not work for ELA, Math, and Science prep, and more importantly, I bet we all have great ideas on management, curriculum, projects, etc. So here's an idea: would any fourth grade NYS teachers would like to set up some sort of support system for each other via email? We could | |
all add each others addresses to our files and remain in contact throughout the summer and upcoming school year. I have had contact with three or four other NYS teachers during this year, and I found it fascinating to see how much of what we do is the same and how much is so very different! Naturally, fourth grade teachers from anywhere are welcome (NYS or not), but I think the support we could lend to one another during this testing year can be invaluable. Anyone interested?
