Gifts for Parents
By Kelly

Clip to ScrapBook
This year, I had many parent volunteers in my kindergarten classroom. To show my appreciation for their help, I typed up a thank you note. I then cut around the letter with edging scissors. I pasted the letter in the middle
of a large piece of poster board. Each child had a turn dipping their hands into paint and making a print on the posterboard. We used lots of different colors. Then they wrote their names under their handprints. I also pasted a small class picture (dig. camera) on each thank you letter. I laminated the finished projects. We made one for each parent volunteer (14). Everyone who
has seen it has said it was a great idea; something really cute and thoughtful that the parents could keep for years to come. The best thing about it was the cost. I only had to buy posterboard.

Hope this helps!
