teacher in school where I volunteered
By Been there

Clip to ScrapBook
I certainly can understand how you feel. I know you won't like hearing this, but, this may be for the best for you. I think it is harder to come into a school where you have worked before as a volunteer. People already
know your shortcomings and can generalize those into your position as a teacher.

I must say, I do think you are getting the wrong end of the deal on this one. However, check with your professors on doing that internship over. Hopefully you won't have to.

I know you are bitter, but don't burn any bridges. You never know, 10 years from now YOU may be that resouce teacher's principal!

Find another school where you can show your true and giving talents and where they will be appreciated. You never know, people may have just been jealous of you from your volunteer work. I know that at my college, the professors would not allow us to intern at schools we had worked at or had children attending. I thought this was rather hard, but now I see that it is a good thing.

Remember, this time next year you will look back on this as a blessing in disguise.
