Clip to ScrapBook
My second graders loved making bubble, use a recipe from one of the science sites or purchase big bottles from $ Stores. Put soap stuff into a flat container and let students experiment with blowing bubbles with different
objects...I had some long handled flower shaped wands that I got a Dollar Tree and some plastic strawberry containers, pipecleaners, wtc. Kids loved it...
Do a butterfly Unit..some neat ones free online and then do a butterfly walk. Reward your students with puzzles from Dollar Tree..mini puzzles usually available there (3 for a dollar). I found butterfly ones. We had longer
and first raised our buttflies and turned them loose amid a shower of bubble to help keep birds from seeing them as we released them..(Our third grade did the release and a bird flew by and grabbed on of their butterlies..so we camoflaged(sp.?) ours!!!!
