Added Stress!
By JudyW

Clip to ScrapBook
I taught my twin girls when they were in fifth grade. I did not like it at all. Looking back on the experience, I feel that I was probably stricter on them at school than the other children. But what I disliked was the
extra effort it took to be sure that I didn't give them test answers, etc. I can remember having to restrain myself from telling them not to worry about some question or problem because it wasn't on the test.

I taught them because they were having problems dealing with the death of a classmate and I felt that being able to observe their behavior every day would better enable me to deal

with this difficult situation. I think the previous response where the lady asked you why you are considering teaching your own child is very important. Under no circumstances would I have taught my son. Unfortunately we have clashing personalities.

All in all, you're facing a difficult decision. Good luck!

Judy
