Mother's day Poem

Hi,I teach grade one and we made picture frames for our moms and wrote this poem on the back of them you can substitute "mug" where I put picture frame. i hope this is o.k. I cannot stay a little girl (boy)
though you may have it so
as the years go by one by one
into a woman (man) I grow Then look upon this mug
that I made for you
and think about my childhood days,
so dear to me and you
