It will get better! Hang in there!
By Julie

Clip to ScrapBook
I am a first year teacher as well. It IS tough, I agree. I have told my principal many times that I have learned so much more in the first 9 weeks of school than in all of my years at college. Teaching isn't just a skill
that you have and that's it. It is such a growing process that takes years of maturing. After asking teachers who have worked at my school for over 15 years, they all say as each year goes by, things get better because you will do things more and more effectively. Hang in there. I know a lot of things are diappointing. Find a teacher who can be a mentor to you. I have a mentor who
is there to help me with any question I have. You will find that many teachers in your school would be happy to lend you a hand or some advice because they have all been there. Have a wonderful relaxing summer and start fresh next year. Good luck!
