It's great that you can give your phone number ... I don't give my phone number and I explain at our fist meeting in a playful tone that anyway they couldn't reach me because either I'm on the Internet and the line is engaged or I'm asleep anytime after 8pm ( this is almost true .
But I give them my email address and encourage them to use it as much as they want. Now, to be honest, since my kids are in my school and their(= mine) phone number is on the list each family receives at the beginning of the year...they could call me if they wanted to. disturbed by the same 2 or 3 over-anxious (sp?)mothers as much as 3 times a week, as late as 11pm. So I guess it depends a lot on the parents you have
