frustrations
By Cathy-Dee

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree with the others. We've all been there and some years are harder than others. Your first year teaching is often the hardest, no matter how good your training is, it just can't prepare you for everything. Even staying
with the middle grades you will find next year easier. I commend those who work with and enjoy those middle grades - they are a handful at the best of times. I teach primary and wouldn't have it any other way.

After my second year I couldn't imagine not teaching! Give it another year and for this year relax, try to enjoy these last few weeks and start thinking about the neat things

you can do next year with your new class.

By the way.... it's this time of year most of us get frustrated about everything. There are so many year end activities, we want to be outside too , the kids are restless, the schools tend to be too warm on some days, etc., And there are deadlines, deadlines, deadlines. It's easy right now to let that frustration get to you. Don't forget to take some time each week just for you, pamper yourself.
