Have you thought about teaching at a different school. I also teach at a Title 1 school and it is very difficult, I go home in tears frequently. Although, thank God is has not gotten quite as bad. I feel that a lot of the problems stem from the kids home lives. Many of the kids have very poor home lives and really do not care about anything or anyone. They feel like why should they care about learning, when they can't see a bright future ahead of them. I am a first year teacher and have decided to give the school at least one more year. I hope that I can be strong enough and survive next year. Good luck with whatever you decide
