I've ordered tadpoles a number of times from a company called Carolina Biological. They have an extensive catalog as well as an Internet site: www.carolina.com A few things to consider - you should be prepared to keep the frogs that develop from your tadpoles. In many states it is illegal (and environmentally inappropriate) to let them go. Also, be sure you buy tadpoles from grass frogs, leopard frogs, or a similar species. Bullfrog tads take a couple of years to change into frogs. Your students will be in another grade! Finally, beware that even with pretty good care your tads may not make it. I raised a bunch successfully three years in a row, then had a rousing failure in which all 20 odd tads died. Over the years I've also had tads leap out of the bowl, committing frogacide, get squished by overeager little hands, and get dumped onto my desk by a janitor's broom handle. (That was a sight - both of us frantically scooping up tadpoles and dumping them back into what was left of their water!) Well, have fun.
